It was framing week here at Anvil. The basement walls were framed as well as the floor joists and 1st floor decking. It’s starting to look like the beginnings of a Barn. Check it out!
After several slow weeks around the end of the year, construction is back to full speed, and the team is getting ready for exterior walls and floor joists. Not even some Atlanta snow can slow them down.
It was a week defined by stillness and waiting as the pad cured and we waited out the rain. At the end of the week the steel was delivered and the Barn began going vertical.
Footings were dug out, and the foundation forms took shape this week. Boys have loved seeing the footprint of the new barn, and it has given us many opportunities to teach on the solid rock of Jesus Christ.
While boys and dads were away at Camp Highland for our retreat, the new driveway was leveled and the future foundation of the Barn began to take shape.
