Week 4

It was a bit slower on campus this week, but fencing has popped up, and the footers are being framed out for the Barn.

Week 3

While boys and dads were away at Camp Highland for our retreat, the new driveway was leveled and the future foundation of the Barn began to take shape.

Week 2

With the land cleared, earth-moving began in earnest. Week 2 focused on grading to optimize water flow and diversion, laying the literal groundwork for proper drainage.

Week 1

Week 1 of the Barn Raising can be summarized as “making space for the new.” While we are saddened by the felling of healthy trees, we imagine a future of new life and leveraged land for the sake of Forging Men.

It has taken over 2 years of prayer, research, planning and generosity … but this week, work has begun on the Anvil campus. The Barn Raising has begun! Thank you for the role that you played in bringing this project to the place of launch.
